As a Senior Compensation Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting the compensation needs of our hourly associates on a step plan in North America. The incumbent will work directly with Operations Leadership, PXT Partners, and Finance to achieve compensation objectives and provide hands-on assistance related to all areas of compensation. Additionally. This individual will spearhead implementation of policy management and process improvement initiatives that increase customer experience for both the business and associate.

As part of this team, you will be responsible for working with internal and external stakeholders to drive adoption and engagement of our compensation programs and tools at scale. This role requires deep data analytics and compensation management skills, ability to manage and deploy large program and policy changes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating with stakeholders across levels on status, risks, and process/product changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. The person must be flexible and action-oriented, and they must be capable of dealing with ambiguity, have strong analytical skills, and be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

This role provides an opportunity to own and drive compensation programs across operations, program management, analytics, site and process improvement.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring consistent and efficient execution of compensation programs and projects, delivering high-quality, scalable solutions within aggressive timelines.

  • Proactively identifying and mitigating risks and obstacles by collaborating closely with business partners and key tech and non-tech stakeholders. This includes effectively communicating with, and influencing, senior stakeholders across multiple parts of the organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5+ years of experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Analytical and quantitative skills and a track record for planning, doing and auditing work.

  • Ability to create dynamic tools and models to interpret and analyze data.

Preferred Qualifications

  • The ability to work independently, take on responsibility and be quick of foot in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment.

  • Highly detailed driven with emphasis on accuracy, coupled with the ability to see the broader picture.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
