Job Overview The Sr Program Manager, Technical is a critical contributor to T-Mobile's success, responsible for delivering and implementing large-scale or complex technical programs in Cloud and Container Security, CaaS (Containers-as-a-Service), PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service), and 5G Telecommunications. This role focuses on driving initiatives that improve profitability, reduce costs, streamline operations, and enhance services for both the business and customers. This position provides senior-level support to business groups by analyzing the current state, defining an ideal future state, and recommending strategies to bridge the gap. The Sr Program Manager monitors program progress and evaluates success to ensure alignment with organizational goals and expected outcomes. The Sr Program Manager works closely with departmental and cross-functional teams-including product, engineering, and network development-to solve challenges and implement innovative solutions. This role oversees the end-to-end development and implementation of technical products, systems, and services, ensuring smooth execution and measurable impact. Job Responsibilities: Lead and implement large-scale programs in Cloud and Container Security, CaaS, PaaS, and 5G Telecommunications, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Define program objectives, success metrics, and deliverables to meet business needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify challenges and design innovative solutions. Assess and document the current state of business operations, recommend future-state initiatives, and ensure successful implementation. Manage the full lifecycle of program development, including planning, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and progress tracking. Monitor program outcomes, ensuring goals are met and delivering measurable value to the business. Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business units, encouraging effective communication and alignment Develops program roadmaps, initiative project plans and schedules, and provides budget oversight for the business group on the program(s). Monitors actual program progress compared to baseline, and reports progress against KPIs. Documents, obtains approvals, and tracks all changes in program and project tools/systems. Produces detailed reports and communicates program status to respective partners, program sponsor and executives. Hosts management and program team meetings, as required, keeping the program team informed and progressing including program reviews with partners as necessary to perform ongoing assessments on the progress of program(s). Facilitates the creation of the program charter (mission statement, KPIs, key partners teams, program roadmap/key initiatives). Ensures availability and distribution to all program team members and leadership. Adjusts program charter, as needed. Develops and implements process controls ensuring department compliance with corporate and regulatory standards, including budgets, compliance, contract assistance, and day-to-day management of the department business processes and quality standards. Manages contracts and vendors. Acts as a liaison between management and vendor/partners on contract development, execution and vendor management. Works with other program managers, project managers, and management to identify and address interdependencies and resource constraints with other programs or projects along with risks and issues to the program.<
