This is a 12-week paid learning experience during which you'll be able to connect and network with other interns and leaders within the company. As a Machine Learning Engineering Intern, you are required to understand enabling systems for coding, deploying, and maintaining large-scale machine learning models throughout their lifecycle. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of technical and non-technical business stakeholders on a wide range of challenges. You should understand the entire machine learning (ML) lifecycle, including software engineering, data collection, model deployment, and operationalization. You will learn to deploy and monitor Machine Learning models to extract value out of data for T-Mobile. What you'll do: Employ a combination of skills including programming and machine learning theory to solve complex problems. Assemble large and complex datasets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements. Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers and the product team for building data ingestion and model training pipelines. Preferred Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program (Masters, MBA, Juris Doctorate, or PhD) in Data Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field. Experience with data scripting languages (e.g., Python and/or R, and SQL, etc.) Experience in data visualization Machine Learning (classification, regression, clustering) Strong communication skills, ability to work with cross-functional teams Minimum Qualifications At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States Must have graduated within the last 12-months, OR be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education. Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location. Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on experience/location. Never stop growing!
