The Product, Partnerships, and Growth team is responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of T-Mobile products from concept to delivery. In parallel, the Information Technology (IT) Team focuses on the technical infrastructure and systems required to support these products. These teams work in close coordination to ensure successful product delivery and business alignment, including translation of requirements, iterative feedback loops, risk mitigation, product delivery, and post-launch optimization, together ensuring the organization delivers innovative, reliable, and user-centric products. What You'll Do We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product & Engineering Optimization Intern to analyze and enhance the dynamic relationship between our Product Management and Information Technology teams. This role will involve researching, defining, and documenting the roles, responsibilities, and key skills required for each team and identifying strategies to improve cross-functional collaboration, efficiency, and productivity. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience working with diverse stakeholders across departments, gaining a deep understanding of product development processes, team dynamics, and operational optimization strategies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in project management, organizational strategy, and technology-driven environments. Key Responsibilities Examine the current workflows, division of labor, communication channels, and collaboration methods between the Product Management and IT teams and identify bottlenecks, pain points, and areas of inefficiency. Clearly define the roles, responsibilities, and required skills for Product Management and IT teams and map out processes and create visual diagrams or flowcharts to illustrate current and proposed workflows. Conduct interviews, surveys, and workshops with team members to gather insights on challenges, strengths, and improvement areas. Develop recommendations to enhance communication, accountability, and operational effectiveness. Identify tools, processes, or frameworks to streamline collaboration (e.g., agile methodologies, project management tools). Identify existing skills, skill gaps, and skills misalignment that should be addressed by either organization. Prepare a final report summarizing findings, proposed solutions, and actionable steps for leadership review. What It Takes Educational Background: Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Organizational Behavior, Project Management, or related fields.
