PeaceHealth is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Assistant for a Part Time, 0.75 FTE, Variable position.
The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $19.31 – $28.99. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.
This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement. There may be more than one opening on this posting.

Performs some testing and procedures with patients, as well as some clerical work and data collection. Helps set up durable medical equipment when patients are being discharged. Assists with cleaning equipment and stocking of supplies.
Details of the position:
Assists with setting patients up for durable medical equipment, including oxygen, nebulizers, and CPAPs.
If trained, performs patient procedures including EKGs, RSV wash and Incentive Spirometers.
Disinfect, assemble, and verify proper operation of respiratory equipment including ventilators, humidifiers, and CPAPs.
Makes daily rounds to all assigned patient care areas to assess inventory and deliver disposable supplies.
If trained, perform audits, collect and enter data into spreadsheets. Creating forms and formatting policies, procedures, and protocols.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What you bring:
High School Diploma Preferred: or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year Preferred: in an acute care facility
Required Upon Hire: Basic Life Support
Skills
Proficient with MS Office applications (Required)
Basic understanding of respiratory anatomy and function (Required)
Basic understanding of respiratory equipment and supplies (Required)
Experience in performing 12 lead EKG (Preferred)
