Compensation Range:121,000-135,000 Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location. Job Purpose Manage a team of three to maintain accurate project accounting in accordance with GAAP for the Americas region for the Service business. To assist the business leaders and executive team in gaining assurance that the financial statements accurately reflect the results of its operations. Collaborate with business leaders to ensure accuracy of forecasts and budgets. Be a trusted partner for the executive team to rely on to ensure risks are mitigated and opportunities are acted on in an effort to improve operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Ensure P&L is accurately prepared through the review of monthly journal entries and account reconciliations within BaaN, SAP (ERPs) and HFM (Financial Reporting). Ensure the Business understands the accounts and that they reflect business expectations. * Complete ad-hoc projects reviewing project profitability and assist as required by the Business * Lead activities required to sustain compliance with Revenue Recognition ASC 606 Standards. * Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts and the annual budget with input from business leaders * Communicate, escalate, and coordinate with accountants, segment leads and department heads to obtain and/or transmit information needed for P&L and forecast preparation. * Oversee the monthly close process and lead the service accounting / FP&A team. * Ability to prepare analysis and commentary for quarter/year-end packages, and manage audit request preparation. * Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures. * Identify control weaknesses and determine process improvements to make sure that effective controls are maintained over the financial accounting and reporting for the region. * Oversee detailed process documentation and update work instructions, ensuring accounting implications of processes are clearly understood. * Effectively communicate with and/or oversee employees within the Americas Organization to achieve accurate reporting of our financial statements. * Exercise discretion and independent judgment when dealing with critical and confidential matters. * Ad hoc requests Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
