As one of the primary contacts with the retail customer, the driver-deliveryman is an ambassador to the community served by the company. Based on his attitude and efforts in all areas of sales and service, the company will ultimately experience the success or failure of its projects and programs. This position is supervised by the General Sales Manager and the Team Leader.

Delivery Duties

Check truck to ensure that all pallets are loaded and no pick sheets are left off.

1. Check the list of items that are close to code and have been loaded onto your truck for trading out..
2. Deliver the product according to the route sequence. Print the sales ticket before you deliver the product, checking the product off as you deliver it. Make sure that all the products are checked off and the ticket is correct with deliverychange the ticket if it is off.
3. Make sure that all products are marked at the required outlets. Fill the shelves and coolers with the beer and non-alcohol products.
4. Make sure that proper rotations are always followed putting the new product on display with the oldest on the shelf and the oldest on the top.
5. The driver will need to have a good relationship with the accounts and ensure that the beer is being put in the proper place asking questions and communicating are essential.
6. Accurately completes customer invoices using the current technology and collects payment for the items delivered. Accurately counts receipts and makes band deposits daily.
