Walmart Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics (Continuous Improvement) in Bentonville, Arkansas

Position Summary...

What you'll do...

The Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics leads a Continuous Improvement team by identifying areas of loss through analytics within transportation. This role leads implementation of lean methodologies to reduce loss, as well as develop, implement, and control process improvement. This role leads step change in process improvement with multiple stakeholders. The role is located in Bentonville, AR.

  • You have demonstrated success leading and developing a team.

  • You have supply chain, replenishment, and/or transportation experience.

  • You have compelling, persuasive oral and written communication skills and can build strong cross-functional relationships and influence change.

  • Data visualization experience with tools like Tableau or PowerBI.

  • You have advanced exploratory data analysis skills and ability to make analytical, data driven recommendations and solutions and develop your team to do same.

  • You have extreme ownership and intellectual curiosity that leads to process and business improvement.

  • You are comfortable with shifting priorities in fast moving and often ambiguous environment.

  • Project Management experience with end-to-end ownership of projects.

  • Six Sigma Certification a plus.

You'll make an impact by...

  • Advanced Analytics : Guiding your team through in-depth investigation of key drivers of transportation dynamic optimization and data quality. Work with large, disparate datasets to measure and develop business KPIs and to conduct strategic analyses to inform critical business decisions. Develop data visualization to monitor and quantify the impact of changes and unique business challenges and use data to influence strategic decision making.

  • Partnership and Collaboration : Engaging with senior leadership, team members and cross-functional partners on a consistent basis and establish credibility and influence change. Drive process optimization and collaboration across the organization. This role will have direct interaction with Transportation Operations and leadership to build a partnership to support business needs and growth. Provides consulting expertise and acts as a subject matter expert to senior functional leadership; articulates the needs of current and future losses to executive leadership. Reviews and influences business strategies and integrates customer strategies to achieve business objectives. Consults with executive leadership to identify and answer critical questions to drive business decisions.

  • Planning : Thinking strategically to identify the key metrics and initiatives needed to drive change within the organization. Quickly translate strategic, conceptual ideas into clear action plans, roadmaps, and timelines.

  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze and improve processes by leveraging lean, six sigma, and zero-loss principles. Identify opportunities to positively impact cost and growth plans, and influence incorporation into long-range plans.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Statistics or relevant field with 5 years of experience in analytics related field or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Data Science, Analytics, Statistics or relevant field with 4 years of experience in analytics related.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
