What you'll do...

The Senior Manager, Transformation Portfolio Strategy & Activation:

Reporting to the Director of Operations and Transformation, you will serve as a business lead responsible for implementing WHRI data and technology-related initiatives and ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects that optimize business operations, data infrastructure, and overall delivery model. The role will navigate and lead change in an innovative environment, collaborate cross-functionally to align technology solutions with organizational objectives, and ensure quality customer delivery

Essential Functions

  • Lead the execution of large-scale business transformation projects centered on driving short and long-term business value through technology solutions, data infrastructure, and overall operational efficiencies related to clinical trial activities.

  • Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of multiple, concurrent projects of WHRI, creating and tracking all aspects of a program, including project plans and milestones, resource allocations, status reporting, budget management, and risk mitigation.

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment, engaging with key sponsors and shared service partners in Product, Engineering, and key business functions to foster collaborative transformation efforts.

  • Lead matrix project teams ensuring initiatives are well-managed with delivery of expectations, timelines, quality, and budget.

  • Prepare and deliver updates to the senior leadership team within WHRI as well as key shared service executive partners, driving awareness and alignment on key decisions, project timelines, and delivery status.

  • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and accuracy of technology solutions.

  • Work jointly with Product teams to build short and long-term roadmaps and identify enhancements to increase the value creation of WHRI programs.

You'll sweep us off our feet if you have

  • Experience leading technology implementations or data infrastructure projects in a healthcare setting.

  • Experience with large and complex end-to-end program management

  • Experience in healthcare quality and safety, care delivery operations, and/or clinical research.

  • 5+ years of experience in strategic consulting, operations, or technology implementation

  • Experienced manager, working with senior stakeholders and influencing cross-functionally to drive outcomes; able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.

  • Problem solver who uncovers areas to improve with high bias towards proactive solutions. Comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong verbal communicator, able to express a complex idea clearly and simply for a leadership level audience.

  • Experience with healthcare management

  • Advanced degree (i.e. - MBA, Public Health, Public Admin)

  • Experience in patient-centered design across the care journey

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Master's degree in public health, business, or related area.

Prior work experience with a sustained record of productivity at a strategic and operational level in the healthcare industry or in closely related health and life sciences fields.

Prior work experience with large and complex end-to-end program management (from ideation to design to delivery).

Prior work experience in portfolio and/or product management with successful design, execution, and scaling of new concepts/ innovations.

Prior work experience in data utilization.

Prior work experience in client-facing roles.

3 years' managerial experience.

Prior work experience in a high-growth environment to build a nascent operational infrastructure.
