About The Team: Real Estate and Energy Tech

Real estate division focuses on Property & Construction management for new stores and remodels. Responsible for facilities maintenance on all stores across the fleet. Energy division comprises of vast opportunities from building niche products from scratch and releasing it to customers and building domain knowledge on electric vehicle charging.

What you'll do:

  • Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the CSMS development.

  • Engage with Product team and architecture community in sharing Core capabilities in CSMS roadmap.

  • Build, test and deploy CSMS solutions at scale and support Walmart EV strategy.

  • Guiding team members and mentoring them to follow established practices for the delivery of solutions meeting quality and speed.

  • Focus on reusability, frameworks, patterns and configurations tools for faster development and deployment cycles.

  • Should take initiatives with Proactive approach to resolve technical challenges.

  • Help diagnose issues between the CSMS system and EV Charger hardware.

What you'll bring:

  • Min 7-10 years of web based application development and test automation frameworks and tool building experience.

  • Having 3+ years of experience in design and development CSMS platform for EV Charging stations.

  • Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in building enterprise grade web based applications.

  • The ability to recognize risks and errors in an application

  • End to end knowledge of full stack web application development using Selenium with Java, Spring Boot based microservices, Kafka, Rest Assured, GraphQL, Jmeter, API and other frameworks.

  • Hands on experience in building products on Azure/GCP would be a preferred.

  • Working experience on Mongo/Cosmos is a preferrable.

  • Focus on reusability, frameworks, patterns, and configuration tools for faster development.

  • Passionate about building user friendly, intuitive web applications to solve complex business problems.

  • Extremely strong technical background, being hands-on and earn the respect and ability to mentor top individual technical talent.

  • Good experience of working with globally distributed teams in a collaborative and productive manner. Excellent interpersonal skills, good with people, ability to negotiate.

  • Retail experience is huge plus

  • In-depth understanding of EV vehicle and Charger station working Protocol & Various Guidelines & standard

  • Have worked on CSMS frameworks support for OCPP 1.6J or 2.0.1.

  • Experience implementing Smart charging, Auto-Charge, ISO 15118, V2G/V2X Charging is good to have

  • Strong DS and Algorithm background.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • Java 17, Spring boot framework with microservices

  • Working experience on CSMS system

  • Azure Cloud Platform /GCP

  • Distributed Systems

Good to have:

  • Messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ

  • Knowledge on Mongo/Cosmos

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
