Walmart Senior, Systems and Infrastructure Engineer in Bentonville, Arkansas

Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Infrastructure Maintenance:

Requires knowledge of:

Infrastructure maintenance tools and methodologies; Infrastructure maintenance plans and schedule; Infrastructure performance metrics.

To perform routine maintenance tasks for infrastructure systems such as backups, patch management and hot fixes. Escalate any issue that occurs in the backup media. Audit desktops for compliance with IT policies. Conduct regular database integrity checks to ensure minimal data loss.

Technology Solution Automation:

Skills:

Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems. Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure. System performance and compliance testing experience. Ability to create detailed documentation for system designs, processes, and procedures. Experience collaborating with clients and team members to ensure alignment and address concerns.

Tasks:

Setting up new distribution centers and fulfillment centers. Implementing new products for distribution centers and fulfillment centers (Proof of Concept/Proof of Technology). Rolling out and upgrading or remediating emerging technologies. Managing the installation of new infrastructure. Identifying, analyzing, and mitigating potential risks throughout the system's lifecycle. Developing and documenting comprehensive System Security Plans (SSPs) for various systems and applications. Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze security requirements and ensuring they are incorporated into SSPs.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, or related area and 3 years'experience in technology infrastructure engineering across areas such as compute, storage, network, mobility or virtualization-related technologies.

Option 2: 5 years' experience in technology infrastructure engineering across areas such as compute, storage, network, mobility or virtualization relatedtechnologies.

Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, or related area. and 1 Year of relevant experience in configuration management, developing automation for Provisioning and Orchestration, experience developing and managing service-level objectives (SLOs)/service level indicators (SLIs) for Infrastructure Service availability and performance., We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
