As a Staff Software Engineer in our Risk Technology organization, you will be pivotal in shaping the technology strategy for products and engineering initiatives focused on customer privacy and regulatory compliance. You will spearhead the development of our new Customer Trust Gateway and optimize the utilization of enterprise resources. This role involves integrating diverse technology solutions to meet global governance requirements and ensuring the smooth operation of the team's processes.

In this position, you will harness your software engineering expertise to deliver groundbreaking solutions that uphold customer trust and privacy. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align technology strategies with business goals, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within scope. Additionally, you will mentor and guide fellow engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster their growth in this evolving field.

About the Customer Trust and Digital Citizenship:

Our organization, i.e. Customer Trust and Digital Citizenship Tech, focuses on managing and delivering world-class products, driving policy compliance, creating partnerships, and developing pipelines and self-service tools. Responsible for Global Privacy Technology Product implementation(s) so that we can earn customers and associate trust.

What You Will Do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using React for the frontend and NestJS for the backend, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

  • Develop and optimize SQL and NoSQL database schemas and queries to support scalable and performant applications.

  • Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes to ensure system reliability and scalability.

  • Architect and implement microservice-based solutions, applying best practices in service design, deployment, and communication.

  • Utilize cloud-native tools and principles to enhance application performance, reliability, and scalability.

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, integration, and deployment processes, improving development efficiency and code quality.

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver comprehensive software solutions that meet user needs and business objectives.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • At least 6-9 years of experience in software engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in computer science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 6 to 9 years of experience in both back-end and front-end development, with proficiency in the following tech stack: React, NestJS, TypeScript, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, and NoSQL databases.

  • Strong understanding of microservice and cloud-native architectures, with hands-on experience in designing and deploying scalable systems.

  • Strong understanding of micro-frontend architecture with hands-on experience in designing.

  • Proven ability to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to enhance development workflows and ensure high-quality software releases.

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a demonstrated track record of effectively addressing complex technical challenges.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • A strong commitment to mentoring and supporting team members, contributing to their professional growth and the team's overall success.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
