Position Summary...
What you'll do...
Location: Bentonville, AR
Shift: Varied (must be willing to work any shift including days, nights, and weekends)
What you'll do:
Load & Route Optimization: Plan and optimize loads and capacity to maximize truck utilization , reduce costs, minimize freight handling, and enhance overall transportation efficiency.
Effective Communication: Act as a point of contact for drivers and field transportation offices, ensure seamless collaboration and resolution of any issues.
Critical Problem-Solving: Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in load planning and routing. Develop and implement strategic solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and resolve operational issues. This includes addressing challenges such as weather constraints and traffic congestion in key markets. Utilize critical thinking to assess situations and make informed decisions that maximize efficiencies and ensure timely deliveries.
Adaptability: Adjust to changing business needs and priorities, seamlessly pivoting from one task to another. Adapt plans to accommodate fluctuations in demand, supply chain disruptions, and other unforeseen challenges in load planning and logistics operations.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop processes and strategies that help meet business goals.
Compliance: Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with Walmart's policies, guidelines, and relevant laws and regulations.

You are available to work different shifts, including days, nights, and weekends. After successfully completing our training program, you will be assigned to a shift that aligns with business needs .
You can think critically and strategically to solve complete logistical problems, especially under pressure.
You are proficient in data analysis and can make informed decisions. Experience with dispatching software and tools is a plus.
You are flexible and adaptable, able to adjust to changing business needs and priorities seamlessly.

The annual salary range for this position is $50,000.00-$100,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
