Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Sam's Tech is looking for an experienced Staff Technical Program Manager who is skilled at the overall management and execution of strategy, engineering excellence and operational excellence .

You will sit within the Chief Architect's Organization and support the execution of important organizational-wide initiatives that enable the successful management of the overarching tech strategy.

Your role will involve breaking down barriers to enable the delivery of large-scale, technology-driven projects and programs across Sam's Tech and Walmart Global Tech . You'll work closely with Engineering leaders and help develop a sound strategy and roadmap along with manag ing them throughout the fiscal year.

You'll maintain budgetary and ROI goals and leverage your technical knowledge to influence stakeholder decision-making. With your leadership and strategic vision, you'll play a pivotal role in taking the Sam's business on continuous path of evolution and growth.

Sam's Club is our membership warehouse club, a business model that provides our members with high-quality products at prices that are unrivaled by traditional retail. Sam's Club provides a carefully curated assortment of items, as well as developing and leading technologies and services such as Scan & Go, Club Pickup, and home delivery service in select markets. What you'll do:

  • Provide overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs.

  • Develop build support and implement business strategies, plans, and practices.

What you'll bring:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in technology, retail, or a related field.

  • A deep technical program management background and direct experiences developing systems.

  • Extensive experience in Operations and Engineering .

  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to embrace change and drive digital transformation.

  • Customer-focused with a proven track record of delivering results.

The annual salary range for this position is $95,000.00-$167,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

  • Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
