Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelors degree in marketing, communications or related field, or applicable experience.

Summary of the Position

We are seeking a dynamic and organized marketing assistant to join our team, playing a vital role in supporting the sales and marketing department by managing a variety of essential tasks. This full-time position requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle multiple responsibilities, including coordinating various marketing projects, maintaining key marketing resources, providing comprehensive support and collaborating closely with the senior manager of marketing support. The role involves a mix of administrative tasks, project management, and general assistance, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the department and aiding in the support of its general operations.

Essential Responsibilities

  1. Manage the distribution and upkeep of essential sales and marketing documents, including policies, correspondence, and other critical resources, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.

  2. Oversee the daily management and coordination of sales and marketing initiatives, ensuring effective execution across all projects.

  3. Gain a comprehensive understanding of the marketing support team's functions to effectively oversee contributions and provide guidance for future growth opportunities.

  4. Lead and contribute to special projects under the guidance of the senior manager of marketing support, driving initiatives to successful completion.

  5. Collaborate with team members on various marketing initiatives, providing strategic support and oversight as needed to ensure project success.

  6. Provide backup support for team members and assist with different responsibilities, gaining insight into each role within the team.

  7. Carry out additional tasks as assigned, adapting to the evolving needs of the team.

  8. You will be expected to operate according to ISO 9001 requirements.

  9. Held responsible and accountable to follow safety guidelines, maintain a clean and organized work area, and use good safety judgment. Expected to report all unsafe activities and conditions to the Supervisor and/or Safety Representative.

Experience/Skills/Abilities

Proficient interpersonal and networking skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.

Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Proficient knowledge of marketing/communications.

Proficient verbal and written communications skills.

Proficient time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.

Proficient organizational skills and attention to detail.
