An Electrical Test Technician job opportunity is available with our client in Berkeley, CA. In this role you will be focused on building their test equipment. To be considered for this role you will have 1 to 3 years of electrical assembly experience.

Electrical Test Technician Job Duties

● Assemble, organize, and inspect test infrastructure electrical subassemblies and integrated test systems.

● Use and maintain electrical build tooling in a shared workspace.

● Commission and troubleshoot completed test infrastructure systems and confirm initial mechanical functionality, including validation using associated sensor readings, in collaboration with the commissioning and engineering teams

● Document findings and testing metrics for performance traceability

● Offer recommendations for keeping documentation up to date.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

● 1 to 3 years of electrical assembly experience

● Familiarity with control panel modification, layout, and wiring, as well as harness building

● Cable management

● Ability to troubleshoot and triage electrical issues and failures.

● Familiarity with lean concepts to maintain inventory and organize workflows.

● Written and oral communication skills within a group of peers and broader organization

● Work under the guidance of senior personnel on the team and demonstrate team first approach.

● Comfort using digital tools. We use Asana, Slack, Confluence, and GSuite among others.
