Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior PeopleSoft Developer to join our team at one of our largest higher education clients. In this role, you will play a critical role in the current day-to-day operations and overall production support of the PeopleSoft Financial (Accounts Payable & General Ledger modules) while other team members are integrating the new Expense Module. With 10 modules currently operating through the client environment, this role will work closely with both functional and technical teams to ensure the AP & GL modules continue efficiently.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

 Collaborate with functional analysts to analyze and debug production-related issues in PeopleSoft Financials, specifically focusing on the Accounts Payable and General Ledger modules.

 Independently work on development tasks related to the PeopleSoft HCM ERP system, including enhancements and defect resolution.

 Leverage the PeopleSoft Toolset and integration technologies to deliver high-quality solutions.

 Participation in weekly Scrum Meetings, technical and functional calls, and delivering strong communication through development updates & documentation.

Skills and Requirements

Must-Haves:

 Minimum 5-7 years of experience working with PeopleSoft Financials, with a strong focus on Accounts Payable and General Ledger modules.

 Solid knowledge of PeopleSoft development tools (PeopleCode) how to write, debug, test, and perform migrations

 General experience with PeopleSoft Integration Broker.

 This individual should be a self-starter who can work independently developing code, solving problems, and working on implementations from day 1.

 Ability to understand functional needs and translate them into technical solutions.

 Comfortability to work in a cameras on, collaborative remote environment. Plusses:

 Experience with higher-education systems or implementations impacting over 500 users.

 Understanding of financial systems and language from those environments. null
