Job Title: CNC Machinist (2nd Shift)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team on the 2nd shift, with initial training on the 1st shift. This role involves working on the Overhaul & Repair (O&R) side, operating and maintaining complex machinery to produce high-quality parts for the aerospace industry.
Responsibilities
Indicate, set up, and operate machines.
Change over tools and adjust offsets.
Run machines and inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Work on Mazak and Okuma machines, utilizing Fanuc, Mazak, and Okuma controls.
Handle parts ranging from 6-10 inches, with a 50 mm diameter, using mostly 5-axis machines and right angle heads.
Inspect parts with Bore Gauges, especially for VTL Machinists.
Produce parts for companies in the aerospace sector, including Pratt, Rolls, and GE.
Essential Skills
3+ years of experience on 4 or 5 axis CNC machines.
Ability to indicate, set up machines, change tools, and adjust offsets.
Experience in aerospace or regulated industries.
Proficient in blueprint reading and inspection of own work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Overhaul & Repair.
Experience running complex aerospace parts and working with multiple page blueprints.
Strong focus on quality control and precision.

Work Environment
The 2nd shift schedule is Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, with a 30-minute unpaid break and two paid 10-minute breaks. Occasional overtime is available at the end of the shift. Initial training will be conducted on the 1st shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for approximately four weeks. Our manufacturing floor is bright, well-lit, clean, and organized, equipped with newer machines. The 2nd shift team is friendly and supportive, with two supervisors available to assist.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $66560.00
