Job Title: Financial Analyst
Job Description
This Junior Financial Analyst will be responsible for a whole business unit. They will be recording journal entry accruals, budgeting for capital projects, payroll costs, expenses, and anything else tied to that business unit. They will conduct variance analysis between actual vs forecast and update the 5-year forecast on a monthly basis.
Responsibilities
Record journal entry accruals
Budget for capital projects, payroll costs, expenses
Conduct variance analysis between actual vs forecast
Update 5-year forecast monthly
Essential Skills
Variance Analysis
Journal Entry
Budgeting/Forecasting
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, sumif's, VLOOKUPS)
Proficiency with large scale ERP systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, SAGE, NetSuite
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Micrsoft excel skills- including Vlookups and Pivot Tables
Recent Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics
Work Environment
The position is onsite, requiring 10-hour workdays from Monday to Thursday with Fridays off. Due to the nature of the work environment at a nuclear power plant, the facility is heavily guarded by security. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00
