Location(s): QUALITY CONTROL (QA) BERWICK PLANT

As a Quality Assurance Inspector/Technician, you will analyze finished product and raw materials to ensure all quality specifications are met and instruct supervisors/employees of corrections needed.

Areas of Responsibilities:

• FINISHED GOODS QUALITY PARAMETERS:

• Conduct product analysis for seasoning level, moisture, oil absorption, and salt / glucose level

• Gluten testing

• Dimensional measurements of product

• Proper use of laboratory equipment

• Computer use required

• Document product analysis results

• Communicate any corrective actions needed as a result of analysis

• ANALYSIS OF RAW MATERIALS:

• Free Fatty Acid level in used oil, including collecting oil samples from fryers.

• OSI for incoming oil

• Potato defect testing

• Communicate use or acceptance of oil dependent on results

• Document results of testing

  Education and Experience:

  REQUIRED:

• HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT

• MUST SPEAK AND READ ENGLISH

• ABILITY TO FOLLOW, READ, AND WRITE VERBAL AND WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS AND COMMUNICATION
