Eaton Corporation Switch Assembly Technician in Bethel, Connecticut
Eaton’s IS AER FED is currently seeking a Switch Assembly Technician. This position is based at our Bethel, CT facility.
Eaton is a premier manufacturer of aerospace and aviation applications inclusive of products like air deployment masks, missile defense and space rocket components.
The Switches Assembly Technician will be responsible for manufacturing of aerospace grade pressure sensing devices.
Core hours for this position is 7am-3:30pm.
The hourly pay range for this position is $18-$20 per hour.

What you’ll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Eaton’s Aerospace Group is currently seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team. This position is based at our Bethel, Connecticut facility.
The Electro-Mechanical Assembler (Switches) is responsible for assembling very small and intricate products. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge in reading, interpreting, and utilizing technical procedures and blueprints. The individual must be comfortable working in a team environment. This first shift position is well suited for a patient individual who is a fast learner, is focused on quality output, and enjoys working in a demanding atmosphere.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assemble, setup and maintain tooling
Assemble, test, calibrate and thermally compensate an electro/mechanical device
Maintain quality records
Interpret internal customer and supplier requirements
Perform final acceptance testing on electro/mechanical pressure sensor (ATP)
Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent related experience required.
Basic computer knowledge
Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment required.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Trafficin Arms Regulations (ITAR).
