Guidehouse Program Coordinator/ Technical Editor & Writer in BETHESDA, Maryland

What You Will Do :

  • Coordinate team communications and reporting.

  • Serve as executive secretariat: schedule meetings, develop meeting agendas, record meeting notes, verify the accuracy of notes/information, provide summaries to attendees, and disseminate information.

  • Respond to inquiries and provide just-in-time information about the program.

  • Communicate with authors of research when needed.

  • Perform program monitoring, performance management, technical assistance, and reporting on all aspects of the development of the strategy.

  • Track and report in MS Office products, organize and disseminate files.

  • Draft and produce final reports, collect and report data to team members for data calls.

  • Ensure the accuracy of web content and 508 Compliance of created materials.

  • Write original content from research articles and reports, create infographics, and content for various biomedical audiences.

  • Apply plain language skills to transform research and reports into brief biomedical summaries for a variety of audiences including researchers and the general population.

  • Produce communications such as reports, presentations, and messages to internal and external audiences.

  • Edit writing on NIH web resources and ensure readability of materials by testing and validating with various audiences.

  • Coordinate any resources from the Contractor, such as the graphic design of reports, and advise on the most effective way to convey information to specific audiences.

  • Recommend and work with subject matter experts in women’s health research and sex as a biological variable research.

  • Other activities to support the team may be identified.

What You Will Need :

  • Bachelors Degree and minimum of TWO ( 2) Years of experience serving in a program coordinating role for interdisciplinary teams creating a web-based product (such as a website) or service (such as a library).

  • Experience in providing biomedical written materials and visuals for research and general public audiences.

  • Proficiency with MS Office including Teams, and SharePoint.

  • Experience in providing research summaries and final reports and presentation materials to senior leadership.

What Would Be Nice To Have :

  • Preference for those who have provided services for writing/editing NIH.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,900.00-$98,900.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
