What You Will Do :
Guidehouse is seeking a Strategic Communications and Program Management Analyst to join our Defense and Security Segment, where they will support the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC). CPSC is an independent government agency, working to achieve recognition as a global leader in consumer product safety. The agency is responsible for issuing and enforcing mandatory standards and developing voluntary standard standards for Trade Industry, educating consumers and trade industry, and recalling unsafe products. The Strategic Communications and Program Management Analyst will be responsible for providing day-to-day support and developing key deliverables for a pilot program that supports the agency mission.
What you will do:
Support development and execution of project tasks/deliverables
Provide coordination and preparation support for client meetings, including scheduling meetings; drafting and delivering agendas, meeting presentations and meeting minutes; providing and archiving required documentation; and documenting, tracking and following-up on action items.
Develop creative solutions with team members and the Project Manager to address the CPSC customers' needs.
Develop recommendations based on research, analysis, understanding of project progress, and understanding of stakeholder needs. These recommendations will support CPSC's decision-making
Provide support in developing presentations, graphics, and sleek visualizations, and trackers.
Develop executive briefings, talking points and strategic communications/work products such as newsletters, infographics, and other related marketing materials and graphics that promote program awareness and updates.
Support multiple, concurrent tasks, while ensuring technical accuracy, adherence to standards, and timely delivery of all products.
What You Will Need :
U.S. Citizenship and ability to receive a CPSC Public Trust clearance
Bachelor's degree
2-4 years minimum of professional full-time office experience​
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Critical and strategic thinking to solve problems and develop innovative solutions to client’s management and operational challenges
Ability to create professional, sleek presentations for executive- level customers (for internal CSPC audience) and trade industry stakeholders (for trade industry and/or public consumption)
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-based work environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities and quick turn deliverables
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
What Would Be Nice To Have :
Proficiency in MS SharePoint.
Ability to adapt quickly and develop successful professional relationships with the Guidehouse team, the customer, and their stakeholders (both internal and external)
Government contracting and/or management consulting experience
