Actalent Civil Designer in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

Job Title: CAD DesignerJob Description

We are currently seeking a CAD Designer to assist with projects in our Bethlehem and Poconos offices. We provide consulting, civil engineering, structural engineering, environmental, and surveying services in Pennsylvania, as well as Maryland and New Jersey.

Responsibilities

  • Design and draft land development plans

  • Prepare grading plans, utility plans, and roadway design/profiling

  • Understand and implement pipe networks, grading tools, vehicle tracking tools, corridors, alignments, and profiles

  • Work on stormwater design and preparation of PennDOT roadway and right-of-way plans

  • Provide specific examples of completed projects and samples of work

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D

  • Understanding of pipe networks, grading tools, vehicle tracking tools, corridors, alignments, and profiles

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in design and drafting of land development plans, preparing grading plans, utility plans, and roadway design/profiling

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in stormwater design and PennDOT roadway and right-of-way plans

  • Ability to provide specific examples of completed projects and samples of work

Work Environment

Candidates can work out of our Bethlehem or Poconos offices with the potential for hybrid flexibility as earned. We offer 2 weeks of PTO and 6 holidays. Join a growing organization with a great reputation in Northeast PA, supporting a variety of projects in the public, private, and energy sectors.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.04 - $38.46
