Overview

Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Lead Cleaner to oversee our cleaning operations and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation within our facility. The Lead Cleaner will manage a team of cleaners, coordinate schedules, and implement best practices for effective cleaning procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train cleaning staff, providing guidance on cleaning techniques and safety protocols.

  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules to ensure all areas are maintained regularly.

  • Conduct routine inspections of the facility to assess cleanliness and identify areas for improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.

  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper storage.

  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to cleaning operations in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate with management to set cleaning priorities and allocate resources effectively.

  • Assist with hands-on cleaning as needed, particularly in high-traffic areas or during peak times.

  • Maintain clear communication with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in cleaning or facilities management is a plus.

  • Proven experience in a cleaning role, with at least [2-3] years in a supervisory position preferred.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team.

  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
