We are currently seeking a self-motivated Accounts Receivable Supervisor to manage the daily operations of the Accounts Receivable Department.

In this position, you will:

  • Oversee Entitlements Department, including but not limited to, supervise staff, ensure compliance with departmental policy and procedure, periodically meet with representative from SSA and Medicaid

  • Ensure billing is submitted on a timely basis using the most current, correct rates for the services provided

  • Ensure cash is collected and posted on a timely basis

  • Review the monthly Accounts Receivable Aging Report for all applicable revenue streams

  • Oversee Billing Coordination work group, including but not limited to, attend meetings, analysis/review of tracking spreadsheet for Adult Services and Pre-school outstanding invoices, interface with Program and Service Coordination/department supervisors regarding eligibility and enrollment issues

  • Review Billing Adjustments forms and provide necessary documents, as needed

  • Ensure implementation and compliance with corporate compliance policies and procedures, as they relate to billing

  • Analyze quarterly Bad Debt Reserve

  • Prepare monthly borrowing base reports

  • Analyze monthly revenue testing and "Due to Government: accounts

  • Assist with OPWDD and SED rate review and with preparation of monthly revenue narrative

  • Assist with PS rate reconciliation adjustments

  • Assist with preparation of Accounts Receivable section of the monthly Balance Sheet Narrative

    We require:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred. Associates Degree in Accounting or Business required .

  • At least 5 years experience in billing capacity of which 2-3 years needs to be in a supervisory capacity, health care/ non-profit experience preferred

  • Third party billing knowledge specifically in OPWDD, Medicare and Medicaid preferred

  • Proficiency in computerized systems, spreadsheet development and databases.

  • Strong analytical and verbal/ written communication skills.
