Job Description

Business Banking Relationship Managers play a pivotal role in helping our business clients achieve their financial goals.

They do this by approaching each and every day with a single purpose – to do the right thing by our business clients to help them achieve their vision for success and the lives they want to lead.

Our Business Banking Relationship Managers will have access to an expansive set of products and solutions to better serve our business clients today and into the future.

The duties of this role are as follows:

  • Prospect businesses with an annual revenue of between $10MM and $25MM.

  • Possess a solid understanding of SBA products, specifically, 7A and 504.

  • Proactively manage an assigned portfolio of clients by awareness and completion of all renewals, annual reviews etc.

  • Build strong client relationships that are based on trust.

  • Assess and attend to clients’ banking needs.

  • Obtain and process client and account information.

  • Educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services.

  • Recommend financial solutions based on each client’s unique goals and needs.

  • Be the primary advisor for our business clients and be responsible for building, developing, and managing new and existing relationships with business clients.

  • Deliver financial expertise and client-centric solutions that build strong, long-term relationships.

  • Effectively partner with internal product specialists (Payment Solutions, HVCC, TM etc.) to deepen client relationships and profitability.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Four to five years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Strong business development skills

  • Basic knowledge of credit administration, analysis, and credit policy/procedure

  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of cash flow management and business credit underwriting with commercial credit training preferred

  • Understanding of basic financial accounting and analysis

  • Strong business acumen with knowledge of diverse types of businesses, industries, markets, financial and economic concepts

-Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships

  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills

Location

This role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $95,455.00 - $112,300.00 - $123,530.00
