- Summary of Essential Duties:
Ensures compliance with CS Procurement Policies and U.S. Government regulations specific to non-profit healthcare research.
Oversees research procurement processes, daily audits, and partners with research stakeholders to support procurement compliance, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
Administers departmental purchase/service contracts, prepares proposals and pre-contract data collection.
Documents and tracks audit-related key performance indicators to ensure compliance with organizational policies and US government regulations.
Monitors research purchase orders, bid waivers, and relevant documents, ensuring accuracy in content, price, and terms. Identifies discrepancies and either provides recommendations or takes corrective action.
Develops, updates, and maintains policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) specific to research procurement and compliance.
Conducts training sessions to ensure adherence to government regulations and internal operational policies.
Acts as a key liaison between technical teams and government operations on research-related contracting matters.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor's Degree in Purchasing, Business Law, Economics, Business Administration, or Construction Management preferred
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of Contract Administration experience required
Experience in healthcare research and/or government grants is preferred
