Robert Half is working with a client who are a boutique tax and accounting firm based in Beverly Hills, dedicated to providing exceptional tax preparation and planning services for businesses and individuals. They are looking to hire a tax accountant on a temp to hire basis. The firm is based in Beverly Hills and can offer a hybrid working schedule.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance. The ideal candidate must have expertise in using Lacerte Tax Software and a proven track record of managing partnership and corporation tax returns. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong knowledge of tax regulations and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for partnerships, corporations, and individuals.

• Use Lacerte Tax Software to manage tax preparation processes efficiently.

• Conduct thorough tax planning and research to optimize tax savings for clients.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.

• Analyze financial statements to determine tax implications.

• Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary documentation and clarify tax matters.

• Assist with tax audits and correspondence with tax authorities, as needed.

• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.

• Collaborate with the accounting team to provide seamless client services.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification preferred).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting with a focus on partnerships and corporations.

• Proficient in Lacerte Tax Software.

• Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
