Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Billerica, Massachusetts

Description We are seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in the manufacturing industry, based in Billerica, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be tasked with supporting business functions, conducting complex financial analysis, and utilizing various business systems. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with different teams to perform P& L analysis, ensuring all financial aspects are accurately reported and forecasted.

• Use business systems such as SAP, BPC, and Microsoft Power BI to analyze and present data.

• Handle budget processes, capital management, and auditing tasks to maintain financial health of the organization.

• Utilize data mining techniques to extract valuable business insights and support decision-making processes.

• Manage CRM and other customer-related tasks, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.

• Oversee the maintenance of accurate customer credit records and resolve any customer inquiries.

• Carry out accounting functions as needed, contributing to the overall financial management of the company.

• Use tools such as Confluence and Crystal Reports to document and report on financial data and trends.

• Conduct regular financial forecasting and budgeting to support business planning and control.

• Monitor and take appropriate action on customer accounts to ensure all financial obligations are met and risks are minimized. Requirements • Proven experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.

• Strong understanding of business systems and their application in the financial sector.

• Proficiency with Confluence, CRM, Crystal Reports, and Data Mining Techniques.

• Experience with About Time and other time management tools.

• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions and Auditing practices.

• Knowledge of Budget Processes and Capital Management.

• Familiarity with SAP and BPC - Business Planning & Control.

• Experience with Microsoft Power BI for data analysis and reporting.

• Expertise in Budgeting - Forecasting processes.

• Ability to perform Complex Financial Analysis to support strategic decisions.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex financial data clearly.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Master's Degree preferred.
