Acadia Healthcare Direct Care Associate 2 / Monday-Friday 3p-11p in Biloxi, Mississippi

Description

  • Provide assistance with activities during assigned shift at the Supervised Living Home.

  • Provide one-on one or group assistance to individuals that live at the Supervised Living Home.

  • Complete Daily Van checklist when driving the van at the Supervised Living Home.

  • Complete data collection sheets and submit to Site Manager in a timely manner.

  • Assist with an assessment of individual’s strengths and needs.

  • Assist with preparing meals for the individuals and provide client training as recommended.

  • Inform Site Manager of need to revise/change individual’s training activities.

  • Help in maintain the Supervised Living Home in a clean and orderly manner.

  • Document individual’s behaviors using specific and descriptive reporting of observations.

  • Promote and encourage the independence of each individual in the Supervised Living Home.

  • Encourage each individual in the Supervised Living Home to participate in their assigned program activities.

  • Encourage each individual in the Supervised Living Home to learn new skills and to make good choices.

  • Follow the proper procedures when reporting a serious incident to the Site Manager.

  • Ensure the safety of each individual in the Supervised Living Home at all times.

  • Follow all Millcreek HCBS waiver Policies and Procedures
