This position is for a (Senior Civil Engineer) located in Biloxi, MS.

Duties and Responsibilities:  Developing and nurturing relationships with key. Preparing preliminary design studies, project planning, and related activities that lead to the design of a. Preparing project specifications, cost and material estimates, reports, and engineering. Preparing design, detail, and layout drawings and design sketches needed for construction packages. Coordinating with clients, project architects and other project consultants and stakeholders to ensure adequate deliverables are provided and expectations are. Preparing permit packages and coordinating with local jurisdictional agencies to ensure development requirements are. Assisting in construction administration and direct communications with clients and contractors regarding submittals, RFI's, and site. Overseeing and mentoring junior and entry-level support staff on project related. Planning and adhering to task and submittal schedules and project budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects. Following company policies and procedures regarding safety and quality.

 

Job Specifications or Qualifications:  A bachelor's degree in civil engineering. 10+ years' experience with civil engineering projects. PE required. Proven experience with planning, permitting and design of land development or linear infrastructure projects. Proficient with AutoCAD, Civil3D, and industry accepted drainage design software. Ability to manage client expectations, project schedules and budgets. Ability to mentor and train junior and entry-level engineers. Ability to communicate clearly, both oral and written. Ability to work in various work environments, both outside in the field and in an office for extended periods of time.
