Apprentice Maintenance Technician, UHS Binghamton General Hospital United Health Services is seeking a Apprentice Maintenance Technician to join our Non Employed Engineering department at UHS Binghamton General Hospital in Binghamton, NY. This is a Per Diem position. Shift: Day

Salary range:
$17.19 - $24.42 per hour, depending on experience. Apprentice Maintenance Technician / Overview Under direction of the Engineering Supervisor to perform a variety of tasks to repair, maintain, or replace components of the Hospital infrastructure and equipment. Implement the preventive maintenance program to minimize disruption to the facility operations.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
High School Diploma, GED or active participation in a skilled trades certification program.
Preferred:
Two (2) years skilled trades experience or trades school
In lieu of the above minimum requirements, an equivalent combination of experience and certification that fall within the limits of minimum requirements and preferred will be considered.
Work Environment
Work is completed in various environmental conditions, will be exposed to heat, cold, and dust. Requires use of ladders. Requires standing, bending, and kneeling. Must be able to wear all types of PPE.
