Geriatric APP Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant / Overview Geriatric Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Position located through United Health Services Hospitals in Johnson City, New York.
This position is full-time (Monday-Friday), exempt opportunity. Seeking experienced, qualified, motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our growing Geriatric group. Preferred experience in Geriatrics. New grads with at least 5 years of nursing experience will be considered.
Must possess a current New York State license and have their National Certification.
The Geriatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will provide health care services to patients within our local nursing facilities. They will complete appropriate documentation, administer and order diagnostic tests, interpret the test results, and will prescribe and monitor therapies. They will develop and implement patient management plans, electronic medical records progress notes, and assist in providing continuity of care which includes instruction and educating patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance.
This position may require some local travel between nursing facilities. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will also be part of an on-call group with support from Geriatric physicians and other nurse practitioners.

Salary: $127,100 - $148,300 annually
