About the Role:

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Cost Analyst for a 3-year contract position, offering full benefits and a competitive hourly rate of $41. As a Cost Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and efficiency of their operations. You will analyze financial data, develop cost forecasts, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will help optimize costs, improve profitability, and drive continuous improvement across their projects and operations.

salary: $36.84 - $41.84 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (i.e., Word, Excel, Access).

  • strong working knowledge of project accounting functions including billing, project budget analysis, cost-to-complete analysis, contract financial requirements, change orders, etc.

  • Cost and budget analysis skills, including cost-to-date and cost-to-complete analysis and forecasting.

  • Anticipate and mitigate potential budget and scope change impacts.

  • Ability to handle multiple complex projects and tasks and work closely day-to-day with the project managers and other project controls analysts.

  • Ability and willingness to develop strong internal and external client working relationships.

  • Adaptable and flexible in a changing and evolving environment.

  • Proficiency in creating and manipulating pivot tables.

  • Developing reports utilizing Microsoft tools.

  • Experience with Oracle Projects and/or Primavera is a plus.

  • Experience supporting Transmission Projects is preferred.

Contract Details:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $41.

  • 3-year contract with full benefits.

  • Potential for extension or permanent placement based on performance and business needs.
