Your Opportunity

As a Computer Operator, you are responsible for tracking mainframe applications to ensure accurate and timely completion. You will monitor system consoles, automated job schedulers, and address any issues that arise or contact application owners for resolution.

What You'll Do

  • Work a 12-hour night shift from 4:00 pm to 4:30 am for 3 days on, 4 days off, then 4 days on, 3 days off, throughout the year.

  • Monitor IBM Z mainframe development and production systems for batch work and online applications.

  • Monitor IBM Power10 nightly production work at GOBI

  • Contact application owners for support/resolution of issues

  • Monitor building and property alarms, fire alarms, gate and cameras

  • Assist in print/mail operations

About You

  • Basic Qualifications:

  • 1- 3 years’ experience in operations in a z/OS environment

  • 1- 3 years’ experience in monitoring z/OS systems and applications for errors

  • 1- 3 years’ experience in troubleshooting application issues

  • 1- 3 years’ experience using an automated job scheduler Additional Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment

Pay Range

USD $45,575.00 - USD $65,105.00 /Yr.

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location.
