JOB SUMMARY

The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor oversees daily maintenance operations across the organization's facilities. This role involves managing a team of maintenance technicians and custodial staff, ensuring that all equipment and systems function optimally while maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, the Supervisor ensures maintenance strategies are effectively implemented, safety regulations are met, and work orders are completed on time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, schedule, and assign preventive maintenance and repair tasks for building systems, including electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.
  • Assist in planning and executing facility improvement projects, renovations, and upgrades.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address repair and maintenance needs.
  • Prioritize emergency repairs and ensure prompt response to work orders.
  • Respond quickly to facility-related emergencies, managing timely issue resolution.
  • Coordinate routine inspections and preventive maintenance schedules of equipment to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to develop and manage the maintenance budget.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
  • Assist the Facilities Manager in planning capital projects and renovations.
  • Support the Facilities Manager in preparing and managing the budget, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to the maintenance team for complex issues.
  • Prepare and submit detailed maintenance reports to the Facilities Manager.
  • Ensure facilities are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and functionality to enhance the customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA standards and ADA requirements.
