Description:

searching for a talented and experienced Material Handler. This person must be a highly driven individual that will operate material handling equipment including machines like cranes, forklift, and other material handling equipment. Match incoming parts to paper documents to verify part numbers, size, quantity, and inspect for damage. Operate industrial trucks or tractors equipped to move materials around a warehouse, storage yard, factory, construction site.

Essential Functions • Operate material handling equipment including overhead cranes and forklift • Operate overhead crane industrial truck (e.g., forklift) in all weather conditions (indoor/outdoor operation). • Total compliance with all Company personal protective equipment policies. • Observe and maintain all safety procedures, policies and regulations. • Load and unload trucks, using a forklift and other material handling mechanisms. • Load and unload outside conveyers for saws, using overhead crane and other material handling mechanisms. • Transport products and materials within the plant and back and forth from yard to plant. • Supplying manufacturing work stations from stored raw materials. • Reporting damaged good and material shortages and verifying inventory levels . • Other duties as required and/or assigned.
