Insight Global SPECIALTY BILLING & COLLECT ANALYST in Birmingham, Alabama
Job Description
This role involves conducting monthly pre-billing reviews and data quality analyses to ensure the accuracy of invoices delivered to customers and providers. Regularly, client and provider adjustments are received and processed to ensure month-end invoices are correct. A variety of collection techniques are used, and relationships with business clients are formed to resolve payment issues and escalate collection efforts as necessary. Specialty billing for PACE and Medicaid clients is submitted using an EDI software portal, and this includes reconciling EOBs, denied claims, and conducting accounts receivable follow-up. Pricing on orders is updated in the system to ensure invoice accuracy for special items, agreements, substitutions, and unauthorized deliveries. Additionally, this role functions as a key contact person for all billing data integrity matters for clients, vendors, and various internal departments.

Skills and Requirements
At least two years of billing analytical experience in which employee worked within a team environment is required.
Experience in the healthcare or medical fields in which incumbents have gained an understanding of durable medical equipment is preferred. - Ability to work with independently and displays good prioritization skills
A high attention to detailed information is required to review and reconcile data
Ability to read service level contracts and understand the fee schedule for client and vendors. null
