Baptist Health & Rehab, a 5 star rated, senior care community is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team!  In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of care of our building, equipment and grounds in our senior housing community.  Our ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent customer service and time management skills.  We are looking for someone who is not afraid of getting their hands dirty and who will lead by example.

This is a Full-Time, working a varied schedule with 8 hour shifts including rotating weekends, holidays, and on- call. 

Maintenance Supervisor responsibilities:

• Maintain equipment in building and determine if outside help is needed for repairs.

• Respond to maintenance requests by residents and staff and emergencies.

• Supervise maintenance and housekeeping staff and volunteers.

• Schedule preventative maintenance programs for major equipment and make sure it is in good operating condition.

• Communicate and build relationships with outside vendors and inspectors.

• Serve as Director of Safety by conducting safety meetings, managing records, and reviewing surveys.

Maintenance Supervisor requirements:

• 3+ years of maintenance experience required.

• Previous experience in healthcare, multiple housing, or related facility preferred.

• Strong knowledge of building electrical systems, HVAC systems, boilers, plumbing, and water supply systems.

• Knowledge of state, federal and OSHA regulations required.

• Ability to work effectively with others within an interdisciplinary team and professionally interact with residents, family members, staff, corporate leadership, and outside contractors.

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

• Self-motivated, able to work as a team member and independently.

• Ability to prioritize multiple requests throughout the day.
