TheMember Services Night and Weekend Supervisorserves as a leader during night and weekend shifts, delivering and assuring excellent service to all members, guests and program participants. They respond to member and guest needs, promote membership and programs, model appropriate behavior and help monitor cleanliness and security of the facility.

• Monitors all areas of the YMCA facility by being regularly visible. Enforces building rules and member code of conduct. Addresses incidents or violations immediately, in an assertive, yet professional and courteous manner.
• Assures that service and program areas are properly staffed and that they are providing excellent customer service, completing their job duties and holding them accountable for following guidelines and policies. Addresses and resolves staffing issues as much as possible and contacts the appropriate department director if a problem arises.
• Provides excellent service to members, guests and program participants. Provides facility tours, uses operations software to scan/check-in members and register participants for programs and maintains working knowledge of all YMCA programs and services. Answers questions for Member Services Representatives as needed.
• Assures that the closing procedures are completed. Secures the building by checking all exterior doors to make sure they are locked. Walks through the facility to assure that everyone is out and that towels, balls and garbage is picked up, final laundry loads are complete, all lights are turned off and cash drawers are closed out properly. Completes daily shift report and emails it prior to leaving for the night.
• Has working knowledge of all emergency procedures, understand their role during an emergency and responds to emergency situations immediately in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.
• Provides support to the Membership Director and Coordinator by assisting with planning and facilitating Family Engagement programs such as birthday parties and room rentals. May assist with contacting members about their account or services. Assists with staff training helps to assure quality and consistency.

Full Time:

• Monday-Thursday, 3:30 pm-11:30 pm
• Every Other Weekend, 11:30 am-7:30 pm
