CTG CMMS (Maximo) Maintenance Analyst in Blaine, Washington

CTG is seeking to fill a CMMS (Maximo) Maintenance Analyst opening for our client in Blaine, WA.

Location: Blaine, WA

Duration: 3 years

The CMMS (Maximo) Maintenance Analyst facilitates access to plant maintenance and equipment data in Maximo and associated systems across the site. Provides technical, analytical, and office support to PSC (Planning, Scheduling, and Contractor Management) Superintendent, planners, reliability engineers, and work stakeholders. Works with business stakeholders to identify data discrepancies, streamline work processes, increase efficiency, and support business decisions.

  • Utilizes reporting tools to analyze, update, and format Maximo data and for use by stakeholders; tools include MDLT, Power BI, BOSS, and Excel. Creates queries using database connections to join tables.

  • Site user of MDLT tool; creates custom bulk loaders to update Maximo equipment data. Tests new loaders, installs upgrades, and integrates bulk loaders into business processes (TA Planning Report)

  • Attends weekly scheduling meetings as needed

  • Works closely with schedulers and planners to research work order status discrepancies and gaps between Maximo & P6

  • Works closely with planners and reliability engineers to gather information regarding critical equipment, preventative maintenance, and new equipment types

  • Attends technical calls on behalf of Maintenance department and loops in PSC Superintendent and planners when maintenance processes will be impacted

  • Updates Maximo PMs and work orders when status, craft code, other bulk updates are needed

  • Completes routine reporting for Maximo & equipment data stakeholders

  • INPROG Exception Report for Maintenance Schedulers

  • SCHED Exception Report for Maintenance Schedulers

  • Updates work order status with feedback from Maintenance Schedulers (INPROG report) or Asset Coordinators (SCHED report)

  • Manages BOSS Scheduled reports – updating users, scheduling new instances, editing versions

  • Assembles data for Maintenance Reporting activities and publishes in local and corporate repositories. Examples include:

  • Maintenance Manager Network KPI’s (monthly/quarterly)

  • Cost Index Reporting (BPNTI)

  • Leading Safety Indicators

  • PM Compliance Reporting

  • Availability Events

  • Maintenance WO Dashboard

Overall Technical Support

  • Attends weekly technical calls

  • Troubleshoots Maximo technical issues and submits tickets, tracks to resolution

  • Provides feedback from maintenance regarding Maximo CIs, quarterly releases, and upgrades

  • Supports implementation and interface of systems connected with Maximo

  • Performs UAT testing in Maximo Test, QA, and Dev environments

  • Provides support and training to analysts working equipment-related special projects for other departments

  • Provides support as a site Maximo SME for the Maintenance, Reliability Engineering teams, and other teams as needed.

  • Provides users with details to connect to Maximo using Power BI

  • Works with CMMS Administrator to facilitate Maximo access requests for new users and changes for existing users.

  • Attends trainings regarding site systems and stays current on new system features

Experience/Competencies

  • Necessary

  • Experience with Maximo or another Enterprise Maintenance Management System like SAP

  • Experience with Excel to manipulate, display, and communicate data

  • Preferred (not required)

  • Understanding of components of maintenance work processes (any industry)

  • Experience with Power BI

  • Experience with Primavera P6

  • Experience with MDLT (or similar bulk information import tool) and BOSS (Business objects reporting tool)

  • Experience with User Access Management

  • Experience with Agile methodology

  • Experience with SQL and/or Dax

  • Industrial experience (direct or indirect)

  • Basic IT capabilities

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000/year. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefits package is also offered.
