The Cigna Group Account Supervisor – D2C Communications - Marketing Agency - Hybrid in Bloomfield, Connecticut

OBJECTIVE of ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR

Establish trust, manage and meet expectations, and add strategic value to become an indispensable partner to clients and agency staff. Trusted to solve business problems and needs with partners across Cigna Corporation with creative solutions that are measurable, on strategy, on time and on budget.

Responsibilities :

  • Exercise effective communication skills to manage business partners/clients and teams, develop compelling presentations and sell work

  • Drive flawless execution of marketing plans and campaigns with partners across Cigna Corporation

  • Act as a marketing and key category and segment expert about business/segment and brand performance and keep agency team informed, focused and motivated about business

  • Develop and deliver effective, inspiring internal briefs to cross-disciplinary marketing teams, ensuring plans are tied to business objectives and leverage the brand promise

  • Continually work to understand the competitive landscape to ensure campaigns are relevant and differentiated in the marketplace

  • Partner with consumer insights team to gain consumer knowledge; monitor and report on market trends related to healthcare industries

  • Align with PR, communications and other marketing centers of excellence to develop strategies and initiatives that drive brand health

  • Champion stellar creative work throughout the business/segment approval process

  • Forge strong client relationships with Creative, Production, Project Management and other agency departments and partner companies.

  • Develop and recommend ways to streamline communications; at the client level and internally within our team

  • Evaluate the input and ideas relative to strategy and business/segment preference

  • Facilitate business/segment presentations and internal briefings

  • Perform all budget estimates and manage actual vs. proposed budget; compile billing and income forecasts and reports

  • Continuously monitor business and promote new opportunities

  • Proactively troubleshoot and adjust plans as needed

  • Define metrics to help ensure marketing campaigns align to business objectives

  • Monitor, analyze and report impact of campaigns/initiatives

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL OFFER

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 8+ years total experience

  • Organized and skilled in project management. Must balance high-priority, long-term projects with short-term, immediate deadlines

  • Proven ability to generate ideas that effectively leverage limited marketing funds

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Adept or expert in a variety of our core agency capabilities and marketing in general

  • Driven, compassionate and curious — An excellent communicator with a positive attitude and stellar listening, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Fast, creative thinker/problem solver

  • Team player

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, highly-matrixed environment

  • Highly motivated

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work from a Cigna office 50% of the time, as requested by the business
