The Cigna Group Small Group Sales Operations Technology Specialist - Remote - Cigna Healthcare in Bloomfield, Connecticut

Cigna’s Individual and Family Plans (IFP) Team is seeking a Sales Technology Business Specialist in our sales operations organization to support our small group programs. This individual will be the business lead with in-depth knowledge of the small group business in order to collaborate closely with IT, digital, marketing, and various business partners to implement, synchronize, and optimize the small group business technology in support of IFP’s growth strategy. This includes but is not limited to Salesforce, small group rating engines, sales call center telephony solutions, shop and enroll platforms, and the broker portal and broker back-office tools. This individual will be responsible for driving innovations in efficiency and enabling next-generation capabilities. They will participate in defining the strategic roadmap for the platforms and supporting architecture.

Responsibilities:

  • Business lead for the sales technology solutions collaborating with IT, Digital, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Legal, Compliance and various other internal and external partners to implement, synchronize and optimize solutions in the sales technology stack with a priority focus on small group platforms.

  • Synthesize inputs from various stakeholders to help prioritize and deliver solutions and resolution to issues.

  • Leads or participates with a matrixed team through requirements, solution design and implementation, including identification of upstream and downstream functional and non-functional impacts.

  • Engages with IT developers and administrators to enable end-to-end stakeholder needs on the platforms and supporting telephony environment.

  • Collaborate with training resource to ensure salespeople and brokers are equipped to take advantage of emerging functionality and usability enhancements.

  • Translates design and implementation discussions for stakeholder layperson understanding.

  • Provide Salesforce support to Sales team and Salesforce development and admins, including configuration, implementing and maintaining flows, reporting, and similar responsibilities.

  • Creates reporting as needed to monitor and optimize sales activities.

  • Partners with Sale Effectiveness team to publish standards, best practices, and training.

  • Communicates with business sponsors to ensure they are continuously engaged and informed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 years of related work experience

  • Minimum 3-years’ experience with B2C and B2B health insurance sales operations and supporting sales digital, IT and telephony technology, including Salesforce CRM.

  • Minimum of 3-years’ experience and demonstrated skill in cross-functional program management, stakeholder engagement, and business process optimization.

  • Demonstrated skill in aligning data sets, understanding sales processes, and aligning supporting solutions.

  • Ability to grasp the big picture, champion the vision, chart a course of action and deliver results. Strong problem-solving skills

  • Natural collaborator and influencer, with exceptional interpersonal skills. Thinks about how people will be affected and skilled at dealing with others. Able to influence without authority. Focused on building and maintaining key relationships to get things done

  • Excellent written, oral, and visual communication skills to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, both within and outside the business. Encourages discussion.

  • Demonstrated experience with process documentation and re-engineering

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

  • In-depth experience delivering technology projects, with agile experience.

  • Direct experience and management of a Salesforce CRM.

  • Experience working with Broker Relations functions including commissions, technology access, and process support.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 110,000 - 183,300 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
