See what it's like to work at GROWMARK: https://youtu.be/CSVMnKCySsY * PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT* Responsible for supporting and managing customer supply/service/sales support functions, supply availability and communications, vendor/terminal relations, price maintenance, MAP administration, and product and terminal setups of refined and renewable fuels that ultimately leads to superior customer experience, sales growth, and profitability for the Energy Division. * ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS* Responsible for monitoring, managing and reconciling designated refined and renewable fuel inventory locations, ensuring adequate supply to support refined and renewable fuel rack sales to member and non-member customers. Responsible for monitoring, managing and communicating of all vendor/terminal/product allocations, availabilities and outages, and any consequential customer allocations and availabilities to customers and appropriate members of Energy Supply, Logistics and Marketing teams. In conjunction with the Refined Fuels Trader(s), Supply Support Mgr. and Renewable Fuels- Product Mgr.’s., is responsible for the analysis of cost changes and vendor invoice discrepancies (VIM) and subsequent resolution with Energy Customer Service and Energy Accounting. Assists and supports Supply Support Mgr., and Supply Coordinator with customer/vendor supply, supply/availability, vendor/customer allocations, reporting functions, and any ancillary vendor and scheduling requests. Assits and supports all procedures, processes, and communications for internal and external refined, renewable and propane rack, off-rack and forward contract setups (consignee/carrier/materials/pants/pricing conditions, etc.), within GMK vendor or third-party applications. Assists and communicates with designated DVS vendors and terminal operators on product setups, allocations, and supply availability issues. Coordinates in a collaborative effort with Logistics/Dispatch/Transportation by investigating loading and supply availability issues in a timely manner that ultimately lead to favorable resolutions and ultimate customer satisfaction. Maintains a thorough working knowledge of all GROWMARK, Energy and third party supported software applications (SAP, Business Objects, DTN tabs, DTN Fuel Buyer, DTN Data connect, myGROWMARK, , etc.). Collaborates with Energy Supply & Trading staff to ensure after hours assistance is available for customers and logistics during the busy season, including after-hours and weekend coverage on a revolving basis. Provide back-up support to Supply Coordinator in their absence. Coordinate and support business reporting requirements for the Supply & Trading team. * OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS* Prepares special reports as requested. Required to handle multiple job functions by backing up key members of the Supply & Trading Team during times of absence to ensure constant business continuity. Requires after-hours and weekend monitoring of supply, outages, pricing and logistical loading issues on a revolving basis to ensure just in time inventory and superior customer satisfaction. Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply. Performs all other duties as assigned. * REQUIREMENTS* Normally requires a Bachelor’s degree in a business related field, or the equivalent thereof, and 2 years or more of related work experience and demonstrated knowledge of the refined and renewable fuels industry. Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Proven professional communication, interpersonal, persuasion and customer service skills. Proven team building skills and the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment, and achieve success through others. Proven computer skills including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Power Point), Business Objects and SAP are a must. Ability to maintain complete confidentiality. Ability to works hours beyond those considred normal. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
