Consolidated Precision Products (CPP)-Minneapolis is currently looking to hire an experienced Maintenance Tech for our 3rd shift to join our team. This role reports to the Facilities & Maintenace Manager at our plant in Bloomington, MN and is considered a critical member of the CPP-Minneapolis team, working closely with foundry departments and teams. This position offers a competitive compensation & benefits package which includes a bonus program that is paid quarterly, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K with match, robust paid vacation & holidays.The Maintenance Technician will perform various tasks to support the equipment in the facility, ensuring it is operating in a safe and efficient manner at all times.WHAT WE OFFER$33-39/ hour depending on education and experienceWeekly Pay for Hourly EmployeesComprehensive Benefit PlansQuarterly Bonus Opportunity401k with generous Company MatchEmphasis on Employee EngagementPaid Holidays and Vacation TimeTuition ReimbursementOpportunities for AdvancementPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESAnalyzes & make repairs on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipmentMaintain inventory of spare parts for area of focusMaintain maximum production and quality by making correct adjustmentsReview production schedule and make equipment changes as neededTroubleshoot and test equipment to check operationsPerform scheduled maintenance/predictive maintenance & emergency repairs, as neededWork on fabrication projects for all areas of the plant using a lathe/mill and various pieces of welding equipmentWork with Production Supervisors to modify/changeReport findings to supervisorWork on miscellaneous facility improvement projects, as neededAcquire additional certifications and credentials as required for work or career developmentMaintain a clean, organized work areaComply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and proceduresAbility to work overtimeAttendanceAbility to work at the Bloomington facilityWork on/participate in special projects as needed or assigned by ManagementQUALIFICATIONS2 year technical degree preferred or equivalent experience will be considered3 years of previous experience in a Technical Maintenance role in an industrial manufacturing environment required.Previous experience working with PLC's and VFD's strongly preferred, with focus on Allen Bradley communicationWORKING ENVIRONMENTManufacturing floorCheck for required PPE in areas you may be working in, Safety Glasses, Steel toe shoes, ear plugsSunday-Thursday from 9:30 pm-5:30 am and is a hourly position with opportunity for overtime as needed.Sponsorship is not available for this role.
