Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in the higher education sector, in Bloomington, Minnesota. In this role, you will be managing administrative tasks, assisting in the admissions process, and maintaining an accurate database of admissions.
Responsibilities
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of all incoming and outgoing correspondence related to the admissions process
• Provide guidance to prospective students throughout the application process, serving as a primary point of contact
• Update and maintain the admissions database, recording all interactions in a timely and accurate manner
• Coordinate and schedule meetings, interviews, and other activities related to admissions
• Assist in recruitment efforts, including participation in open house sessions
• Support the collection and analysis of admissions data to inform decision-making processes
• Utilize Microsoft Office suite for data entry, scheduling appointments, and managing email correspondence
• Provide additional support to the Admissions team as needed, including answering inbound calls and other administrative tasks.
Requirements • Experience in promptly and efficiently handling inbound calls, showcasing excellent verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability in delivering exceptional customer service, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Proficiency in data entry tasks, able to enter information accurately and efficiently.
• Capability to manage email correspondence effectively, responding in a timely manner and maintaining detail-oriented communication.
• Experience with both inbound and outbound calls, demonstrating strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and charts.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook for email management, scheduling, and contact management.
• Skilled in using Microsoft PowerPoint for creating, editing, and presenting detail-oriented presentations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word for creating, editing, and formatting documents.
