Our client, a global leader in storage solutions, is seeking a Chemical Analysis Laboratory Engineering Specialist to join their team. As a Chemical Analysis Laboratory Engineering Specialist, you will be part of the Wafer Plating / CMP / Wet-Etch Process Engineering Department supporting the Chemical Analysis Team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Chemical Analysis Laboratory Engineering Specialist

Location: Bloomington, MN

Pay Range: $ 20-23/hr (W2 Contract)

What’s the Job?

  • Conduct Chemical Analysis: Perform scheduled chemical analysis of plating baths and maintain chemical levels.

  • Monitor and Adjust Processes: Utilize SCADA software to monitor real-time data and take corrective actions for any out-of-control situations.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate inline chemical measurement and dosing systems, as well as laboratory chemical analysis equipment.

  • Record Keeping: Accurately document lab activities, ensuring data quality and consistency.

  • Collaborate with Engineers: Work with engineers and specialists to develop and standardize best practices across shifts.

What’s Needed?

  • Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with chemical handling safety and lab safety protocols.

  • Lab and Cleanroom Experience: Comfort working in lab and cleanroom/factory settings.

  • Independent Work Ethic: Ability to independently perform routine chemical analysis, adjustments, and equipment maintenance.

  • Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail in reviewing analysis data to ensure the quality of outgoing results.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Effective communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities.
