About our group: Our group is responsible for key services including capacity planning, capital budget planning, design of factory layouts, factory staffing and factory modelling. We design, develop, and apply engineering, mathematical models, simulation and optimization models to drive solutions to complex manufacturing problems. We support and improve the performance of the Manufacturing operations and play a critical role in the execution of Seagate's Product and Technology Roadmap About the role - you will: Work on Industrial Engineering business processes and systems including capacity planning, capital planning, and operational performance through the ownership of a subset of tooling. Support and develop models intended to understand key inputs of factory performance and drive business decisions based on data. Collaborate and lead projects with various engineering teams to determine key business improvement opportunities. Present in meetings to engineering, management, director and vice president levels About you: Proven track record of results Successful experience in process improvement initiatives Enjoys working with data Collaborates closely with colleagues and other business units to achieve tactical and strategic goals Ability to effectively communicate and present to all levels Your experience includes: Data analysis, reporting, workflow automation, visualization skills including Excel, SQL, Knime Familiarity with data table structures Seeking applicants with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Science or another relevant discipline Location: Our Normandale campus spans two suburbs, Edina and Bloomington, and serves as the Recording Head development and manufacturing arm of Seagate.
