Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

The Tech I is an intermediate level position, primarily responsible for receiving, inspecting, and replenishing implant kits. The role also entails processing customer orders and performing various duties within the distribution team to support team goals. Daily tasks include sorting inbound kits, using JD Edwards Kit System for various operations, implementing basic kit reconfigurations, ensuring complete and functional kits are placed on the shelf, cleaning instruments, replacing damaged components, re-shrink wrapping sterile items, inspecting and replenishing kits accurately, and assisting with new build kit activities. The role may also involve order fulfillment processes, coordinating with customer service for kit expedites, and running ADSI/FedEx Ship Manager.

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 78 Weekly.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Bloomington, Minnesota.

Work Environment

The work environment is clean, regulated by the FDA as a medical device manufacturing facility. It is climate controlled and organized, featuring fairly tight racking and alleys. The candidate will be working independently for 80% of the day and in a group for the remaining 20%. The warehouse gets very busy between 4pm and 8pm, in order to meet FedEx shipment deadlines at 6pm and 8pm. Despite independent work, associates, leads, and supervisors frequently engage in idea exchange and problem-solving discussions.
